Cable question: HDMI -> DVI - Blu-ray Forum

Is there such a cable that exists? I have a friend thinking about buying a PS3, but he's in college and all he has is his PC LCD monitor. Is there something like a cable with one end HDMI to go into the PS3, and the other would plug into his DVI port on his monitor?

what is the model number of his monitor? it has to be HDCP compliant to work.

Correct.

I am using the same setup. PS3 HDMI -> DVI Dell 2407-HC monitor. Love it

You can get an HDMI to DVI adapter as well.
