Finally.

After almost two months of delay...it's finally here! Laziness, life, and among other things were holding back the results; thank you for waiting patiently! This was a LONG count with a whopping THREE HUNDRED AND ELEVEN individual titles! Honestly the Top 20 somewhat surprised me, even the 10 runnerups.

After seeing this list, it affirms why I didn't vote---

too hard to rate the list by the movie itself versus the disc.... what gets higher value? Seems like Picnic At Hanging Rock, for instance, would rate much higher-- most people seem to think it's a great movie and the disc (and packaging) were terrific!

I also realized that I have about 10 Criterion discs that I've had for quite awhile and still haven't watched!

I have the Studio Canal blu-ray of The Third Man. I'd love to compare them myself to see how they stack up.

In theory it's a great idea for a thread because all of the endless possibilities but man is it a PAIN in the ass to count all those titles. I don't know how Juels or esteban2 do it.

My #1 was the #3 runner up. I feel your pain. I would have ranked The Third Man on my list but I have never even seen the Criterion release.

And what a release it was. A beautiful PQ, more extras than I ever knew existed, the closest thing to the roadshow version I will ever be able to see and the coolest, most informative booklet and map. Now if only Criterion will release another one of my all time favorites, The Incredible Shrinking Man.
