Question casino-100th Anniversary Blu-ray+DVD+DC

Been looking for a Blu-Ray of Casino for awhile. Found this 2-Disc Blu-Ray with slip (Digital Copy expired) at FYE. Haven't opened it yet. Doesn't appear there is the Scorsese commentary on this Blu-Ray set. Can anyone who owns this particular Blu-ray set (it has Casino|1995 in lower right hand corner of slip cover) tell me if it has the commentary with Scorsese, Stone, and Pileggi on it? That was one thing I was really interested in getting. But think I might have purchased the wrong edition and have missed getting it anyway.

Thank you!!!!

All editions of Casino are the same here.

According to the review, the commentary is listed as follows:

Moments with Martin Scorsese, Sharon Stone and Nicholas Pileggi is actually the audio commentary track consisting of chopped-up snippets from the other bonus material.

Yes, I saw that listed on the back of the sleeve and wondered if that was indeed referring to a commentary.

Thank you very much for your prompt response. Now to open the set and see if I actually purchased a Blu-Ray that works properly; seems that was a problem from early one with this edition.

Thanks again for your help!!!!

If I remember rightly, that commentary is quite sporadic and a bit of a chore to get though! Could be wrong though.

Yeah, it's one of those stupid audio commentaries where many interview audio clips are glued together.

I don't even consider those as audio commentaries. True audio commentaries are so much better where the director or the actor sometimes say the very small details about a scene and what they remember about shooting it, instead of the stock interviews.

Yeah it's not a proper (or good) commentary.

The film looks great though, even if it's not a glorious new master.

I got the DE steelbook last year for about $15 shipped and I don't regret it a bit.

I got the Spanish steelbook for about £12 I think and I certainly dont regret that. Much nicer than that nasty horizontal UK steelbook and the disc was the same (except it wasnt corrupted like some of the UK discs were halfway through the disc - layer change). The picture on blu-ray.com for this release doesnt show reality by the way - there is no silver border for instance. Inside art and no writing on the back either.
