Default Ocean's 11 - They cut off the mistake

I always like to see the mistake they made when Linus and Rusty are standing in the Botanical Garden at the Bellagio going over Linus' observations. Rusty has a cocktail glass of shrimp in hand. When they change angles he has a plate in his hand, then change back, it's a glass.

Take a look at around 43 minutes and 42 seconds.

This post has me a bit confused. Are you saying that they did fix it? Are you asking someone to check to see if they fixed it?

I find it rather odd that they'd cut out this mistake. Did they use a different take or something or is it a straight cut?

They cut the bottom part of the film, so that you wouldn't be able to see the mistake that happened.

Oh. Wow. So did they just shift the framing. Do you know if you can see more of the top? I have no idea how this movie was filmed so I dont' know if that's possible.

Since it sounds like you own it though, how's the PQ on 11? I haven't been abel to find a review yet

I'm not sure, I've never really looked at the top. I remember watching the film on TNT or TBS a few weeks ago and I showed my wife the mistake. Now with the Blu-ray, they just cut the bottom part out.

i thought a PQ for 11 was fuzzy... and the color mix was weird... but then again, it might just be the director's style... still, i'm a little bummed that it didn't have the look of high definity (is that a word?)...

It was shot Super35, shown unmatted on TNT/TBS, so the error you saw was matted off in the OAR widescreen presentation.
