Ok. So I have a strange fascination with movies that feature strange buddy cop partnerships.
Usually mismatched opposites who work together even though one of the cops usually can't stand the other one. The stranger the better ( or worse if you will). The 80s and 90s produced these in a kind of shocking regularity. Here are some examples : K9 (cop/ dog) Turner and Hooch ( cop/ dog again) Top Dog (cop/ dog yet again) Dragnet (by the books cop/ hip cop) Loose Cannons ( by the books cop/ multiple personality cop) Stop or my mom will shot (Cop and his mom) Theodore Rex (cop / talking dinosaur) The Heat (stuck up cop / don't give an F cop) So there has gotta be some other great ones.
