thought this could use a NEW thread since the show got a premiere date

Full trailer released. Holy crap this looks so damn good i am all over this one. And i will definitely buy the blu rays because i know this will be a show just up my alley

Definitely different for Showtime. Of course that's not a bad thing.

If this gets a Blu-ray release, I'll definitely check it out. Showtime shows are hit or miss with Blu-ray releases, mainly relying on the who the production company is (besides Dexter). Shameless and Homeland are on Blu-ray because Warner and Fox put almost all of their shows on Blu-ray now, but House of Lies and other Showtime produced shows are DVD-only.

i am pretty sure a show like this will get a blu ray release. Because fantasy, horror and action shows tend to sell better on blu ray then just a regular comedy or drama show.

Unfortunately, Warner is still lacking. I really want Longmire on Blu-ray, and after two seasons, still nothing. Not to mention pretty much everything on TNT (except for Falling Skies).

But mredman is right. SF/fantasy/horror/action shows tend to have a better chance of being released on Blu-ray.
