Default Soprano's complete collection on BD

IDK how they have never made this. I never bought the DVDs because I always thought I would eventually get the BD. After so many years I realized I never seen it and when I look it up, all I can find is the first season?!?! Is this ever going to be made?

No, because nobody is buying the first season. If HBO sees poor sales of the first season, they're not going to waste their time releasing the rest.

Both parts of Season Six look incredible on Blu-ray, so it really is a shame the rest of the seasons haven't been released.

It just shows how misconceived HBO's thinking is. The sales of Season 1 have been poor precisely because most Sopranos fans are waiting for the complete series to be released on Blu in one set. People don't want to buy just the first season, not knowing whether the subsequent seasons will ever be released on Blu.

Yup, people want the complete series set because it's cheaper. Every Sopranos fan has the DVDs already, so $50+ per season is way too much for a relatively small upgrade.

If it was a total restoration and a huge bump in quality like Star Trek for example I would pay $50 a season, but it isn't.

Sales of Season 1 are also bad because they did a VERY bad job on them. For some episodes, the DVD is at least as good if not better.

They very well could be waiting a couple decades to do full on 4K remasters from the original negatives. Whether a physical format still exists at that point or not is the question.
