Default Do you never watch the Blu-rays you buy

Hopeing someday there worth millions still beeing in the orginal plastic wrap? Or do u buy them to watch them and enjoy them. I sometimes question myself as to why i have as many blu's as I do, recently I have been watching my movies once, So I question myself as to why i buy them, knowing, it is just going to be waisted money once I die.

i have watched all the blu rays i have bought
i really dont feel like its wasted money, if i buy a blu ray and i know i didnt really like the movie that much and will not watch it again, i will sell it right away
i buy blu rays because im a movie fanatic, and i cant get enough of watching movies, so i collect them for the passion, so i never worry about wasted money i am always happy in the end
instead of spending money on model cars or airplanes, sitting around doing that all day, i buy and enjoy watching movies

I watch all the movies I buy. I can't think of any that I have that I don't like. If I did, I would either sell or trade for something I do want.

There isn't many releases yet I want to buy on Blu-ray yet but ones I do get I buy them, open them, watch them, and enjoy them(or hate it if it's a bad movie).

I have several sealed ones I bought.

Passion of the Christ is almost a year old and it's sitting on my shelf. I wished I waited for the Black Friday Sale to get it for like $10 from Amazon.
Oh well. I'm watching it this Easter for sure.

The other movies, I might sell them.

Smoking is a waste of money...not buying Blu-rays. Get your priorities straight.

Some of my movies take me a while to watch, took me about 6 months to getting around to watching Starship Troopers 2 and 3 for example. At the moment I only have one movie I haven't watched (Serenity - I've seen it, just not on Blu). Getting 5 more delivered today though, but should be through them by the start of next week (long weekend)!

Some movies I just watch over and over though.

I have some sit for a week or two but that is rare. Death Race with Statem sat for two weeks because I had already seen it and found it for cheap so I didn't watch it right away..

I asked myself this same question two years or so ago. I started keeping track on IMDB (My Movies) as to the date that I last watched something. If I didn't watch something in the past year, then I traded it in for credit at MovieStop. Because of this, I ended up trimming my collection down to around 300 movies TOTAL and because I had so many trade-ins, I haven't had to pay cash for a blu-ray in the last six months.

Oh... it also helped clean up the clutter that all of those racks were creating.

I haven't watched everything in my collection yet (I'm running about 40-50 behind although most are movies I've seen several times though so I'm in no rush) but in general, the first thing I do when I get them is open them. So no, I won't be trying to sell them as a collector's item way down the road.

You could just give them to me if it makes you feel better. I'll watch em for you
