I'm not a fan of James Franco so I had low expectations, but I really enjoyed the series. The actor who portrayed Lee Harvey Oswald should get an Emmy nom, IMO.

This...I can't stand Franco and loved the book, and damn if he wasn't good, directed an episode as well I believe.

One of King's best novels, IMO. Looking forward to checking this out.

I have always liked Franco since Spider-man and liked the mini-series quite a bit. Undecided whether I'll pick it up. I guess I'll wait to see what extra content it may have.
[Show spoiler] Also as a Star trek fan I knew where this was going before it got there. You don't F with the timeline and Edith Keeler must die.
Looks like the extra(s) were posted as I was posting.

Awesome, really loved this.

Netflix could take this example and start releasing more of their shows to blu.

Great series, really well done. Disappointing lack of extras on this - but I'll still buy.

I'm only a few episodes in, but I'm enjoying it so far. I don't think I'd need to buy it on Blu-ray though; I don't see it as something I'd watch all that often.

I will definitely pick this up. I loved the book, but don't have Hulu.

I also don't like Franco, because I think he smirks his way through all of his performances. However, he's not enough of a negative factor to keep me from wanting to view this series.

I could not get passed Oswald's voice. He sounded as if he had a speech impediment. There is video of the real Oswald speaking and his voice was completely normal. I looked up the actor and he's Australian so I think it was just a case of not being able to do an American accent well. I suppose his acting was fine but I was laughing at his voice every time he spoke, it kind of ruined the mood.

not really up to Netflix, this is a Hulu show but it's a WB property and we all know WB is most likely to give TV shows a BD release. Just like how Sony has House of Cards and Lionsgate has OITNB and Grace and Frankie but only OITNB got a BD since it was more popular but I'd personally have bought G&F on BD over OITNB... Lionsgate also has Hulu's Casual but it's not on BD. It just depends on the studio, not the network (/service) that airs (/streams) it.

As much as I dislike Franco, I actually enjoyed it for the most part... until that last episode.
[Show spoiler]If he had maybe gone back and forth to fix his many mistakes that would've made it better, and maybe do more than a few minutes in the Kennedy didn't die post-apocalyptic timeline.. or if they hadn't just gone back to the start to reset it all and basically void the past 8 hours we've spent on it.

I'd buy it but not for more than $15.
