Default Samsung LNT4661F

Hi all.

My wife and I are going to be purchasing a home in the next few months and as part of the move I will be replacing my 30" CRT (it still has a great picture!) with something around 46 - 50".

Does anyone know anything about the Samsung LNT4661F? I seem some good reviews on Amazon, and Samsung generally makes good stuff. I only saw 1 thread mention in passing that someone owned it, but no reviews (looks like the person had just purchased the TV).

To go with this, I have a Sony SDR-710 receiver and my Playstation 3. Other video is DirecTV HR20.

Thanks in advance.

I bought a LNT4661F 1 month ago at 1699$CAD (Big Discount at BestBuy). I'm SOOOOOOOO Happy about this tv, it's just AMAZING. Go read the review on Amazon.com you'll see you cannot go wrong with this TV.

hello..i also have the 4661 and i love this tv and have no doubts with the purchase whatsoever...however, my friend owns 40" version of the 65 series and i noticed a slight enhancement in picture quality while watching blurays and playing games on the ps3...the blacks were deeper and other colors were more vibrant...i believe it has to do with the gloss screen as compared to the matte screen of the 61 series...for a few pennies more, try to go for the 65 series but you cant go wrong with either purchase...go blu!!

I've had my LNT4661F for six months and couldn't be happier. I deliberately chose this one over the 65 series because I absolutely despise glare. Samsung makes the best LCDs.
