Default David Lynch Blu-rays?

I would love to add a little Lynch to my collection however I don't really know where to start? I see Blue Velvet but would love to have Lost Highway, Eraserhead and Mulholland Drive on Blu.

I think this box set would be a good way to start:

I wonder how much a Kickstarter would need to generate for the Criterion Collection (or whoever can) to put out a wide release of Mulholland Dr. That's the only film of his that I've seen, but its replay value is great.

Would that be considered an Import? Does Amazon charge extra for it?

I made a 3 disc custom case with Dune a couple years ago. One disc for the BD, one for the original soundtack, and one for the original score.

I have the box set from Germany and it's nice.

The features are Region Locked, I believe, but I don't even bother with them usually. With that being said, the quality is great and the audio requires you change it to English on your remote.

Otherwise, it's a great little set for the price.

I think that all feature David Lynch movies are available on blu ray in various countries around the world.

The only thing missing is the Twin Peaks TV series which they for some reason refuse to release, the swines.

The UK box set looks sweet:

I hardly bother with features as well.

Everyone slags the box but it really is quite good considering the amount of great extras there are on it. You couldn't even buy the extras themselves on dvd for any cheaper than that box and the transfers are all fine.

I think the box looks great. Pretty much the same concept as the Tarantino box set, except here it slides out from the side and not from the top/bottom and you don't have to worry about it falling down if you're not careful.

At least they made it a proper box set, unlike some other "box sets" like the Coen brothers which is basically a group of their releases in exact same packaging as individual releases, except you get an oversized slipcover.

Some of the transfers are 1080i so everyone has a cow about them.

In motion they look fine to me. Could they be better, probably, but unless Criterion picks them up they are good enough for now.

That being said the French Dune and US Blue Velvet are much better looking transfers and B.V has all the deleted scenes (mind most of them are pish anyways), though the UK version has great extras as well that aren't on the US disc.

The extras aren't all film specific, but who cares you are still getting a whole heap of his short films, the whole series of Dumbland and the fantastic Lynch One documentary as well as 6 great films for a good price.

I got mine for £17 so I was very happy

Too bad the UK set is Region B locked, it looks very nice in my opinion.

I really want Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me on BD, but the region locking ruins that for me.

The Japanese version is not region locked and has the best PQ.
