Mentioned along with Kinsey and The Full Monty in a press email about Fox Searchlight's 20th Anniversary.

I misread the press release re: the date, it will be out June 3rd.

Johnny Knoxville + Special Olympics

As a father of a child with special needs, I can say this movie is not as offensive as it could've been. That's as much of an endorsement as you're going to get out of me

When I saw the title The Ringer, I was thinking about The Cooler with William H. Macy, Maria Bello, and the good Baldwin. I would be more interested in that one

The filmmakers worked closely with the Special Olympics, getting their complete script approval before making the movie. Everyone's got their own levels of sensitivity, but the SO organization itself was completely involved with the production, which is nice.

YES!!!!! This movie is hilarious! I'll definitely buy this to replace my DVD copy.

not a great film but its a fun little flick. A little too preachy and not as funny or offensive as it should have been.
Brian Cox is fantastic in it

Eh, if it's $10 or less, I'll reluctantly pick it up -- after all, it is my ***** of an ex-girlfriend's favorite movie; she didn't have a great taste in movies, by the way. It still had its moments though, I'll give them credit. It was less cruder than I thought it would be.

Usually, Johnny Knoxville + Mentally-handicapped people doesn't end well. But this film surprisingly somewhat did; thought it was gonna be a lot worse.
