New to this whole high end audio, need help

I have the pioneer 94, and klipsch sub-12, F-3,C-2,S-2,B-3 and my question is should I bi-wire from the pioneer 94 to the F-3???? Then I have one more question.. The sub I have hooked up by RCA, but the manual shows a picture of high level connections where they run the main L&R wires from the recever to the high level inputs on subwoofer amplifier connections on the sub, then out to the speakers. Does this mean that the sub acts like a amplifier and if this is the case should hook up my F-3's that way. Help would be very nice you guys, I can't seem to get any help from my stores around here
