Default Dark Intruder (1965)
I screened this tonight. This movie is a hoot! It's Leslie Neilsen as Sherlock Holmes in a movie that looks like a high budget version of Wild Wild West. It even has a midget. The sets and costumes are fantastic and the photography is atmospheric and imaginative. It looks a lot like a classic Uni horror. But the story is extreme like a pulp dime novel or an EC comic (i.e.: Tales from the Crypt, Vault of Horror) and the tone of the movie is right out of the 60s... tongue in cheek like James Bond. It almost looks like a pilot for a TV series.

The image quality is great. The sound is a bit muffled at times, but I'm sure that's the way it was shot. Worth picking up.
