On the bright side, it's such a good movie that I really don't think it's possible for a remake to be that bad unless it changes literally everything.
If you haven't seen it, then do. It's arguably the best film of the last 20 years. |

No. Hollywood is like 0 for (insert however many there are here) in remaking Korean films. I Saw the Devil is one of those films that immediately when I saw it, I knew you just couldn't get something like it in Hollywood.
I love You're Next, but for very different reasons than what makes I Saw the Devil so good. There is a quality to it that Wingard will not be able to reproduce. |
