Default Was there only one version of each Saw movie released?

I saw in the stores they had the 'Unrated Edition's but the ones I just ordered off Amazon don't say anything about that. Are they the same thing?

For every Saw film released on regular DVD, there was rated and unrated versions. However as of now, only the rated version of Saw I is available on Bluray while Saw II and Saw III blurays only come in unrated versions right now. So there is only one version of each saw film on bluray.

Saw: Rated R with no extras

SAW II: Unrated with some extras but not all the ones from the 2-Disc Special Edition

Saw III: Unrated with all the extras from the original release with 2 bluray exclusive features. However, this one does not contain the director's cut nor any of the features on the just released 2-Disc special edition.

It's confusing, I know but rest assured what I told you is 100% accurate. I wish they would release an ultimate editon that would have everything. I must own about 3 versions of each film on DVD/bluray. Every release has new things and never has the features carried over from the original release. It freakin' annoying!

And the upcoming BD and DVD of SAW IV contain the Unrated Director's Cut, so maybe they're doing it right the first time now.

There will eventually be an Ultimate boxset of all the films, but that won't happen until at least after VI is released. That is if they stop at VI.

Meh, I don't care about all these extra things, I just wanted to make sure I didn't get an inferior copy. Stupid as hell though, the whole idea behind Bluray is to get the best possible edition of the movie out (as far as I'm concerned). The highest costing edition should be the only one you need to get.
