Movies I can't believe are not on BR

I just went through my movie collection. I found about 100 I signed up to be notified on release. What I found were still many that aren't in the works as far as I could tell. Not all of these were blockbusters but still they are better than so many I dismember my roommate movies available on BR. Some of these are campy but some are kind of classics from my youth. I noticed MANY of my old DVDs don't even play full screen - letterbox with HUGE black bars on all 4 sides.

Glengarry Glen Ross.

While essentially a "talking head" movie, the cinematography is gorgeous nonetheless. A real crime that Lionsgate (or whoever has the U.S. rights now) continues to sit on this classic.

I know it is available internationally but a U.S. release would be nice.

The absence of THE ABYSS on BD is a travesty. That film has never been released to home video in anamorphic format. Cameron and Fox blew the opportunity to celebrate the film's 25th anniversary this year. I guess they're holding out for the 50th anniversary.

Then there's THE ALAMO (1960), which MGM doesn't want to preserve for the ages.
