Default Die Hard collection #2 best seller at futureshop

I'm really surprised to see that the Die Hard collection on blu-ray is the #2 best seller of all the DVD sold at futureshop: http://www.futureshop.ca/marketing/d...estsellers.asp

But I don't understand why Planet Earth on HD-DVD is at #9. Perhaps they had display in stores with this title in display... ?!

I'm not suprised at all. I picked up the Die Hard trilogy at Futureshop on Wednesday and there was only 1 copy of the trilogy left. The single disc version were all very low in stock as well.

As for Planet Earth on HD-DVD, I said it before and I'll say it again.... what else are they going to buy?

I was going to get the collection but Live Free Or Die Hard is not the Unrated version so I'll wait a little longer until they finally release it next year. Why did FOX do this in this first place?

I was hesitant to buy because of the fact that it wasn't unrated too.... however, I didn't feel the movie was crippled or wussed out in any way. I don't really care now that it's not unrated.

As far as the Planet Earth resurgence - I am guessing it is a popular Christmas item. On Amazon it is doing well in all three formats, outselling a number of more recent releases.
