Default Die Hard: Do I have to buy a box set?

I only like Die Hard... I don't want to have to buy all 3 movies. Die Harder sucked, and Die Hard with a Vengangce sucked. I've not even seen the 4th movie. Of course there is a kid sidekick and the only movie a kid sidekick belongs in is Last Action Hero, which by the way needs to be released on Blu-Ray. Rubber baby buggie bumpers... I did a 360... If you did a 360 you are right back where you started you Sicilian smuck...

Here's the highdefdigest blu-ray release list (Click). Scroll down to Nov. 20, Die Hard isn't shown as an independent release, however it is further down the list under the "Release Dates Pending" section.

Live Free or Die Hard was excellent. I thought that it was probably as good as the first one. If not, it's really close.

what are you doing posting on this forum so late? shouldn't you be doing something more dangerous, like rearranging your sock drawers?

Companies like Fox, Sony and Disney would be silly not to release films seperately. The more movies Blu sells the more profit they probably see, and if Blu wins they hit the jackpot.

LOL

I think I would have to take both of the Die Hard sequels before Last Action Hero . . . but to each his own.

I'm dying (hard ) to see the Unrated cut of Live Free Or Die Hard.

Same here. I liked it, but it was missing all that raw action/dialog the first one had.

You're crazy for saying that. With that said, it seems that initially the first three Die Hard movies will come out as a box set and Live Free or Die Hard will come individually as a day and date release with its dvd counterpart, but I'm pretty sure that eventually you'll be able to purchase the first three separately.

Default Die Hard series available as standalone releases

It looks like Fox will be offering the Die Hard movies as standalone releases as well as a boxset entitled The Die Hard Collection.

Great news. I didnt want part two. 1, 3, and 4 will definitely be mine.

Hopefully some of the other boxset makers (I'm looking at you you WB/Harry Potter and Sony/Spider-man) will take the hint and do the same.

Definitely a good thing - I wanted 1 and 2, but didn't want to buy the box set just to get them and get stuck with 3 which, IMO, was a total piece of crap

The whole thing now, (DH 1 thru 4) is part of one set. Now if they can release "LFDH" in Unrated or R-Rated even I would be happy, but it sounds like the director was slacking off on finishing the Unrated Director's Cut that now they dont have enough time to master the transfer into HD. What a bummer!!! Can you imagin how busy those Fox home studio engineers trying to finish up remastering quiet a few movies by year end...
