CSI Season 1, what about other seasons?

Hey everyone, just got the CSI Season 1 blu and its amazing I do know that season 9 is coming out but does anyone know any news or rumours of seasons 2-8 comin to blu? I would love CBS if they released all the seasons!!

I was kinda irked that Season 9 is coming out before the other 7, but oh well. I can deal with it. Should see Season 2 sometime in the near future, but what do I know? Just thinking that they might have some kind of schedule they were going with.

I suspect its because CBS Video set the bar so high with 7.1 DTS-HD MA audio that each episode has to have the soundtrack remastered from 5.1 to 7.1 surround. Otherwise, the internets would be afire with people complaining that the 1st season was 7.1 but the later season are not.

Oh yeah, and the issue of going from 1080i masters to 1080p for Blu-ray Disc. It was not possible for the first season due to editing issues but they may be trying to see if they could possibly present later seasons in 1080p.

I just bought mine now just waiting for it to arrive, this is one series I will pick all of them up.

I am hoping the come out with House and NCIS soon too.

Strangely enough it is from Anchor Bay

It is region locked, tested on my modded bd35 set to region A

I hope that they do. I have Season 2-7 (7 un-opened) sitting here and I want to get rid of them.

I haven't seen any of Season 8 or 9.

I’m looking to buy the Norwegian exclusive CSI, CSI Miami and CSI NY sets and cannot find them for sale anywhere. Is anyone able to help me with a website that has them in stock? Doesn’t matter if they’re used or or don’t ship worldwide, I’ll find a way to make it work.

Not just Norwegian, Pan Vision is a Scandinavian distributor (sold to Scanbox a few years back and is now a games distributor) and sold their CSI titles across Scandinavia and Finland. Since they don't cater to DVD or BD any longer the titles are now OOP.

Danish retailer Laserdisken has some titles on BD in stock. They sell internationally but the website is only in Danish. Might try e-mailing or phoning them to assist you.

The PQ isn't very good but still better than DVDs. And they put 24/25 episodes into just four discs.
