Default found shooter...

so ive been searching everywhere for it, as many of you have also, found 1 copy left at my local fye. 40 bucks was steep (most ive ever paid for a blu-ray) but think it was worth it.

Why is that? I seen it at Wal-Mart when it first came out.

Yeah since Paramount announced they are destroying their Blu-ray's they haven't shipped out their Blu-ray's are going to be harder to come by. Sites are selling Shooter for double or even triple the regular price.

Hmm. "Male, 23 years old, RENO, NEVADA". Let's see if Blockbuster can find you with that.

Fry's and Best Buy in my neighborhood still has it, as well as some other Paramount/DW titles...but they are going fast.

I wonder why you can find nearly every one of the Paramount Blu-ray titles at local retailers except "The Shooter?" Perhaps the production run was much much smaller because they had already made a cetain backroom decision.

I have been holding out on picking up "Hustle and Flow" but I think I better stop procrastinating.

Maybe it's a more popular film.

My only other Paramount Blu-ray is "Dreamgirls". I've tried to sit through that thing but can't. I saw part of it, then went to find something else to interest me. Days later I made a serious effort to sit through the rest of it, starting where I left off, but damn it, I had to turn it off again and find something to interest me again. I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to seeing the final third of it. There's not anything really wrong with the production, it's just not to my taste and rather bland.

Absolutely. I have a few Paramount BD's but Shooter is my favorite one by far. The last time I saw it on the shelf anyplace was at Borders Books, and that was only about a week ago. For anyone that really wants it, you might try there or try ordering on-line from Borders. Also, I think Moretonbay might still have some copies.
