I'd love to have this on BD. Never got it on DVD, and can never find it when I think to look for it.

Normally I'm not a Howard Stern fan, but this movie was actually very good.

Probably my all time favourite comedy. I read that Stern wanted to do a 10th anniversary DVD but Paramount weren't having any of it.

What chance a BR transfer if that is true?

Only good part of that movie is the gratuitous Jenna Jameson scene..

Easy to find on a DVD from Amazon for 2.61 in very good condition
to 4.93 new.

I would buy the DVD but not waste the $$$ as a Blu

The DVD is non-anamorphic and looks like dog poop

A BD would makes for a nice upgrade that I would definitely buy! I had to sell my DVD, it was that bad!

It's already been shown in 1080i on Universal HD. I don't get that channel though, so I can't comment on it.

Me neither, I use to have Universal HD.. I wish Universal would have broadcasted it while I was a paying for it. Anyone care to comment on the PQ?

I would be surprised if we ever see this on Blu-Ray, but god would I love to see this.

Maybe in a few years when Howard is retired, he'll work with the studio to record a commentary and get it released.

Yeah, I'd love to see Howard, Robin, and Fred do a commentary together on this one. It'd be like listening to them on the radio.. which is pretty strange when you think about it. And have a separate track with Reitman as well (not totally necessary).

I saw this in the theatre when it was released, and have the dvd...love it! I'm pretty sure I saw this, maybe early last year, OTA HD. Not much, but hopefully it means a BD is in the works!
You figure as savy a businessman Stern is, he'd be all over this. As I'm sure he'd get some royalties from it's release.
Someone should call into the show and ask him...I'd wager he would talk about it for a few minutes.

Would love to have this as well. Big Stern fan going back to his days on DC 101.

I bought one of those MegaMillions tickets this past week. In my fantasy of actually winning I told my wife that when they do that winners press conference I was going to start off by saying "BabaBooey"

DC101...wow, there's a blast from the past. While I did miss Stern when he left, I liked The Greaseman much better! Different type of humor, but man were his bits funny!

I think Stern has all but disowned this movie because it all revolves around his life with his now ex-wife, Alison. I saw it on one of the HD cable channels in the past six months. It didn't look that good in HD, the transfer looked very old.
