Any poker players here?

hi just wanted to start a new thread and see if there any poker players in this forums. i use to play a lot of 1/2 no limit then played a little 2/5. i recently stopped because im trying to focus finishing school first. the swings in poker are crazy, you guys know what im talking about if you play.
any poker is welcome here, i only played Texas Hold'em no limit. i think im a above average player and wished to play more after i finish school.

tonight im going play in a tourney 60 buy in 1st usually 1k. its been months since i been there. i played the tourney there 5 times and i got paid 3 times. 1st time i played there i chopped 1st and 2nd for 900, 2nd and 3rd time i got paid 500 for 4th. usually aroudn 75 players, starting chips 4k. hope i can make the final table again

I played a lot online before the whole website sweep thing happened. It'd be nice to hit up more buy-ins on the tour but it's just a side thing. I'd rather use that money to help out a good cause to be honest. I still get my fix by watching older Poker After Dark cash buy-in games.

I've played poker before, but not in a tournament. Just with friends. The most I ever won was $250.

I used to travel to Atlantic City to play, then my state got casinos and I stopped playing. Still haven't figured out how that works.
