I'm an avid fan of the show, so after searching for a dedicated thread and coming up empty, I figured I'd start one to talk about how good or bad the current season is doing.
Bring it on b!tches!! Last edited by Gamma_Winstead; 11-17-2010 at 02:53 AM. |

better in every way than Entourage. The writing is fresh and always interesting, and the characters you actually care about. Same can't be said for Entourage, or most of today's comedy shows. How was Entourage and Family Guy possibly nominated for an Emmy over season two of Californication? Completely baffles me.

By no means was it the best episode, or anywhere near the best episode. But keep in mind, it was the season opener. The whole point of it was to introduce the characters that will play a major part in this season (like Ashby last season). I think that it is going to be a great season

I have a feeling being a college professor he's going to get plenty of tail coming his way. This should be an interesting season considering, but I will miss Hank's main squeeze. She did bring a bit or realism to the show whenever he got "caught". Bring on the mayhem.

Not a bad episode, the coed stripper was hotter than I imagined. Charlie and his wife is starting to get a bit boring, the pantyhose scene was hilarious. The fight between Hank and his daughter was a bit strange for either character since they've always had some sort of understanding.

Actually, I think that scene was incredibly important and exemplified the maturation of the show. I say this because Hank has kind of always let his daughter do what she wanted, but now that Karen is in New York, I think he realizes he needs to step up and be more of a father and less of a friend. This was also shown in the first episode with the marijuana incident. It is clear that the daughter is growing up, and I think that this will add the realism that has been the underlying force of the past two seasons. |
