Rise Of The Guardians has disappeared

I have tried unlinking and relinking. I have an email in to Vudu. They seem to be having one-off trouble losing movies from folks lately.

This has been going on for over a month now. They are aware and are working on a solution.

I reported a similar problem with Madagascar 3. From the small sample, it appears that Dreamworks titles are the affected ones?

I haven't had any disappear from my library yet, but that worries me how they can disappear or pull license from titles. I've pretty much gone all digital now so with no hard copies on new movies I guess I'd be SOL'd.

So now I'm not sure what it means when people say it's disappeared. My situation is that I know I had Rise of the Guardians in my Library as being "Owned" but now it shows prices as though I never owned it and would need to purchase it or redeem again, but the title itself has not disappeared from the Vudu site but just not showing as "owned" for me.

That's my situation too. It is still in my uvvu locker, but just not vudu. I assume they will clear it up.

You must have obtained it via Vudu. The issue is only affecting those who obtained outside of Vudu.

Anything obtained via Vudu (preorder or D2D) have the correct alid and will show up.

Thanks for the info, yes I redeemed it through vudu when I bought the 3d copy.

What's the alternative though? No choice? Force everybody to buy Apple and use itunes?

I like choice, but I also understand that some of those choices (venders) are just getting up and going. It may be a long time if ever, that they all have the exact movies. In that way it will never be like itunes since that is one vender, they either have it or they don't, nothing to compare too.

It may be useless if what you want to do is download everything to a hard drive, and or copy to your other devices but what I'm questioning is how many really want to do that? I know I don't.

I'm probably missing something here. "CFF will standardize UV across all vendors. Right now it is not."

How will this help if your not interested in downloading?

Uv is terrible.

I have 250-ish movies on there (if they didn't dissapear) but they all came free with the blu rays. Giving money to this system is for the birds.

The ultimate risk of buying digital copies. No harm if buying with the blu-ray, but situations like this make it hard for me to go 100% digital. Sorry dude.

Furthermore, they mention that if you originally redeemed your content in Flixter, you will have to contact them to update the broken Link eventually.
As a summary, once the production studios have updated their new token rights with Ultraviolet, we will go ahead and update ours (as long as you originally redeemed the content with us) otherwise please refer this issue with your service/retailer provider.
