Machine Girl Blu-ray Review

Machine Girl will be released by Tokyo Shock. As given with previous releases by the studio, the May 25, 2010 release date might not stick. So, be warned. Also, the poster above, is for the short sequel which is available on the Machine Girl Remix DVD by Tokyo Shock.

Excellent News, Already Preordered! I can not tell you how many times I have watched my DVD copy, wonder if the bluray will receive the same features as the remix version? Also, hope this is a true HD bluray!

Just don't get your hopes up on that release date. Tokyo Shock shafted us before on numerous titles, like Ichi the Killer. I have the regular DVD, not the Remix and I love the movie. There's also a UK Blu-ray that is horrible in quality and it looks like a poor DVD up converted to HD.

I hope the US version is a different master then. Have Tokyo shock actually released any blus then, for comparison>?

Tokyo Shock has only released Death Trance blu-ray so far & it was just okay. Ichi the Killer has been delayed 3+ times & Versus has been delayed twice already. So Machine Girl will most likely be delayed at least once! Hopefully these titles are being delayed to fix any issues they are having...

The UK version doesn't look like a poor DVD upscaled... it looks like a poor DVD, end of! It's absolutely hideous.

The movie is pretty cool actually. Saw it when it came out. Wouldn't buy it though.
