A questions about the blu-ray box and the CD itself - Blu-ray Forum

I have never seen Blu-ray media in person.

My questions are:

Are the Blu-ray boxes the same size as the regular DVD boxes?

Is the Blu-ray disc size the same as the regular DVD-disc size?

The disc is the same size, the cases are thinner and shorter. Much nicer IMO.

I always thought that the boxes and the BD-discs itself were the same sizes as the regular DVD's.

But when I found out that de BD boxes were smaller, I started to doubt about the BD-disc size.

But thanks for clearing it up.
