Carriers Blu-ray? - Blu-ray Forum

Saw this film a little while back and really enjoyed it. Anyone know if or when it will be on Blu-ray? I checked Amazon but all it allowed me to do is be notified when it becomes available.

I know it's on Blu-ray in Germany, but I'm not sure if it's region free.

It is out in Australia also. It is B locked

Anyone looking for it really cheap, it is available in Australia in JBs 2 for $20 sale. They ship internationally.

It is region free with a workaround. It will play on my Japanese PS3 with the workaround.

When you load the disk, it plays the animated Roadshow logo, and then goes to a "Region Mismatch" screen. On my Japanese PS3, I then just bought up the title menu (using triangle on the PS3) and selected "Title 1" and hit enter. It started playing the movie. I just tested it now prior to posting.

First of all, to be able to play the disc, you must a have a Region Free Blu-ray Player.

Yeah? I have it playing on a Japanese Region A PS3 as we speak. That sure as heck isn't a region free blu ray player.

The above explanation means the disc is region free, but there is PAL content before the menu, if I'm not mistaken.

No Pal content but they put a half baked region lock just using a simple redirect to a screen saying wrong region. You then just go and select title 1.

If I can play it on a Japanese ps3 region a I can't see why others couldn't.

Just received my copy, can't get past the Roadshow logo.

There HAS to be a way around this!

I give up. Decided to buy my first region free player. Hope I made the right choice in player and company.
