The above explanation means the disc is region free, but there is PAL content before the menu, if I'm not mistaken.

No Pal content but they put a half baked region lock just using a simple redirect to a screen saying wrong region. You then just go and select title 1.

If I can play it on a Japanese ps3 region a I can't see why others couldn't.

Just received my copy, can't get past the Roadshow logo. There HAS to be a way around this!

I give up. Decided to buy my first region free player. Hope I made the right choice in player and company.
