Saw this for the first time last year for Mother's day, and absolutely loved it. Looking forward to picking this one up.

Nice to see another George Stevens movie considering he's still relatively under-represented on the format especially when it comes to what he made before WWII.

Hopefully Alice Adams and Gunga Din aren't too far behind.

I remember years ago, before his lay-off from WB, Mr. Felteinstein talking to someone (if I am not mistaken to Dick Dinman about the WAC release of Blood on the Moon) said I remember Mama was on the list of films to be restored, but no work had been started at the time.

So glad it is finally being released!

I simply love everything Irene Dunne is in. Hoping My Favorite Wife, Life with Father, White Cliffs of Dover and A Guy Named Joe are selected by WAC in the near future too.

Has any Hollywood directors career arc shifted as dramatically as George Stevens, in reference to his pre and post war films? I never seen this, but I know it was his first effort coming out of the war and he was trying to cling to the same lighthearted style he mastered prior to it. Definitely going to pick this one up and, as mentioned above, I do hope they release more of his earlier films. I have seen so few of them
