According to UltimateDisney. Walt Disney Pictures Home Entertainment (aka Touchstone Pictures) plans to bring the Hugh Jackman robot hit late January.

Expected as a Combo Pack porting the BD+DVD+Digital Copy of the film.

Really despised this movie. Just awful. Won't be bothering with it on Blu.

Could you elaborate as to why? I saw it just last week. Very over the top and unbelievable though it was entertaining for two hours.

I went into this with extremely low expectations and was completely and utterly blown away by how much I enjoyed it. It's been the best surprise of the year for me, so far. I can't wait to pick it up and watch it again.

Terrific, surprising movie. Expected a dumb action robot movie for 10 year olds and got a good film with a lot of heart. Very surprising and i'm a tough critic.

Day one purchase for me.

I saw this on Saturday and definitely getting it on blu. I thought the story line was pretty good and was not bored at all. Enjoyed it very much!!

Thank you for all the positive feedback for Real Steel. Now can hardly wait for the review on the upcoming Blu-Ray release when we get closer to its eventual release.

Man it seems like movies are coming out earlier and earlier on bluray and DVD.

I literally JUST got back from seeing this in the theater.

Was VERY surprised. It was Rocky, Big Daddy, and Iron Giant all in one film.

Day 1 buy for me.

Well there's a major strike against it.

It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't good (just my opinion, of course). I still like Jackman, but I'll pass on buying this one.

Pretty cheesy, not to mention all the small problems. For example, wouldn't little pieces of metal be constantly showering the crowd causing all kinds of injuries and deaths? (and large pieces too, in the arenas with less fencing)

...and the "shadow function" on their bot was completely inconsistent, sometimes mirroring them, other times copying them directly.

I'm looking forward to seeing this one actually. Probably not a great film by any means, but looked to be an enjoyable one. I'll definitely pick it up on blu when the price is right.

The film does have every cliche you could possibly think of, but I really had a great time and enjoyed it. One of the better times i've had in a theater this year. 8/10

Decent movie. Don't know if it's worth a day 1 buy though. Depends on what else is coming out that time.

Some people have to learn about separating good films from the "Best Picture" category and "A Good Time" category. This one goes into the latter. Day 1 buy.
