I started uploading the missing Hungarian edition of the database, but lot of movies doesn't allow adding the Hungarian audio and subtitle. How do you do it? Such release, for example. Obsessed, Footloose, Country Strong etc...
Thank you for your help. Last edited by Kimi007; 09-23-2015 at 11:32 AM. |

Theatrical entries don't have audio or subtitle options, maybe that's the issue? |

You received that message because "hun" isn't a valid entry. You can start typing to filter the popup list but then you have to use the up/down arrow keys to highlight the correct audio option and then push the "enter" key to select the highlighted audio track.

Hi,
I started to upload the Hungarian expenditure, which is still rather incomplete and I found two English cover expenditures of two Hungarian films which include false information. The film "White House Down" has got an English cover on the main page but if you click on the film you can see the Hungarian cover. The second is "The Terminator" movie. I would like to correct these. Maybe you know who is Supersonic? He uploaded the covers in both cases and I would like to clarify that. I am very grateful that Supersonic uploaded some Hungarian information but these are not always correct. Unfortunately Warner Bros, Disney, Universal, Paramount etc. are not present in Hungary anymore .... we only have distributor studios. Unfortunately Disney has stopped releasing BD movies in Hungary a couple of months ago. This is a BIG PAIN for BD collectors. I would like to contact the Disney Studio to ask about the reasons however I don't have their contact details. If someone could help me with this I would be very grateful. Thanks for any help! Super Sonic was banned recently because of his actions in the database and toward other members. If you come across incorrect information/cover art, please submit corrections. |

If Hungary only has two distributors then it would be advisable for you to select one of them when listing a Blu-ray, if they change hands and are re-issued then you'd add another distributor (and listing if the BD has a new barcode et cetra). If the big Hollywood studios licence out their movies to local distributors and don't distribute them themselves then you should select that local distributor.
The studio field is for that's country's local distributor. If Warner Bros., Universal, 20th Century Fox aren't distributing the Blu-rays and they're licenced then they should not be listed as a studio. Hopefully Blu-ray.com can change the field from Studio to Local Distributor and add a Studio tag to the Theatrical entries then no further confusion will happen, but it has been explained many times. |

You can ask nicely in the feedback section, but the process is simple enough. If you're requesting titles to be added then list as much information as you can so they can be linked to the correct Amazon ASIN. But you'll probably find after you've done that a few times you'll want to enter the information yourself!

Hello friendly administrators-
I've made a lot of submissions over the years and usually see the Blu-Ray or DVD added to the database within 24-48 hours. I submitted this movie a few weeks ago (http://www.amazon.com/Paris-Springti.../dp/B00ZFOUHVI or http://www.bestbuy.com/site/paris-in...skuId=28659174) with no action yet. Is there a big backlog, or are you no longer updating DVD submissions? Thanks! |
