Default terminator 3

ok...my g/f bought me T3 on blu ray.....i run all my blurays on my ps3 too my xbr4 and all of them play at 1080P/24....well when i hit display on my tv like i do on all my movies to make sure they play in 1080p...well with t3 is it says its 1080i....what gives?

please someone lend me some help...i just exchanged it at kmart for their last copy and it does the same thing....i just tried another blu ray to make sure my ps3 didnt mess up...but it ran at 1080p/24....the t3 still runs at 1080i on the exchanged one....

THAT"S CRAZY! I hope warner bros didn't give us a duplicate of the hd-dvd version, lol. Actually not very funny.

No it is in 1080p, prolly just a goof, kind of like they did on Pirates 3

it says its in 1080i during movie playback...not on the display case.

Have you checked your PS3's still set to output 1080p (might have reset after System Software update or something).

yeahh...i even check another movie tonite....i checked 300 and it worked perfectly at 1080p/24

Is the 16X9 ratio and the 1080i show what your settings are currently set at or is it reading what the disk is projecting during play back?

My Nine Inch Nails Blu-ray shows the same thing . . . I dunno why. BTW . . . is it just the pic, or do the black bars for wider aspect ratio movies actually look that gray when you're watching them? If so, you seriously need to calibrate your set.

Glitch then. TV shows on BD will be as low as 1080i, but movies on BD are always 1080p.

well none of my other movies have ever ran at 1080i.....when i stop the movie my tv displays 1080p when the ps3 is just on like normal...
