Noticed these on Zavvi.com. Wanted to talk about them but believe there isn't an actual right place to discuss them. Shall I discuss them in the UK blu ray forum? |

Those are not UHD Blu-rays. The UHD content can only be found on that USB-stick.
I also asked to add UHD forums. See my quote: Quote:

|I'm not sure if the UHDBD tab should be on the page, probably before Blu-ray, but that would make me sad ... |

To encourage discussion it would probably be best to start with one UHD forum, and then maybe movie the discussions to the existing forums, but label the titles properly, for example "The Dark Knight UHD" or similar once there are a good amount of releases. |

But as you said it might be best to keep everything together, then expand if the format takes off. |

My opinion would be I would wait not jump on the 4K bandwagon yet.
HDR might over run the 4K hype. Even Sony the company who where pushing 4K then anybody else admits that if you have 65” TV you have to be closer then six feet to see a difference with 4K. The perception to sharpness is always being about contrast more then about resolution. Comcast is saying they are more interested in High Dynamic Range then we are in 4K because thats what the consumer can see. And isn't Comcast the owner of NBCUniversal and Universal Studios? We might see turn in the next few months. |

A single UHD forum would suffice for now.
Just look at the steelbook forum, that manages perfectly well and includes releases from all around the world. All we need is to make it clear that when a topic is started then the country flag should be used to designate which region release we are talking about. UHD is going to be very niche for the first few years, so I think one forum should be fine. |
