For that price, you'd better buy the quadrilogy! Besides, I think almost evryone already bought the complete collection

I agree, and not to venture off subject, but it be great to get the 3 Aardman/Dreamworks films on Blu-ray: Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and Flushed Away.

To get back on topic: for 21 dollars you can get 3 extra movies... Why would you buy them seperatly? |

well I certainly didn't buy the whole collection because imo this is pretty much the one worth owning.
the others just don't do much for me, sorry to say. amazing that it has taken 5 years to get this released as a single release, but at least it is finally coming out. ![]() (I can appreciate the boxset as being a better value, but I just don't want it; simple as that) Last edited by Arkadin; 06-09-2011 at 07:44 PM. |

Spending $40 on the box set is only a better value if you want the additional films. Paying $18 for the individual release is a better deal if that is all someone wants. Will save $22 by not getting the set. Sometimes, I go for the sets. But they must be cheaper than $40. Got the Batman Anthology (last 2 films ![]() Others like Pirates of the Caribbean, The Omen, The Matrix, etc. the first film in the series is the only one I want. If the individual film is cheaper than the boxset, why not? Others, like Rambo and Die Hard, it is the first and last I want; should have got the sets on sale for about the same amount of money, but too late now. |

One thing I don't get about franchises like this and Spiderman that were initially released in bulky box sets is how skimpy they are with the extras. I see no reason why every last extra from the old DVD versions can't be ported over.

I dont have the box set but I am going to pick up the individual eleases of Shre and Shrek 2 as I didnt care much for the third and I just Got shrek 4 used at newbury comics for $7.99 so it is indeed cheaper for me to buy them separately plus its not like the box set has any more extra feature discs that make it worth while. So for me teh box set is not worth it. besides I may pick up part 3 if I can find it for $8 or less used somewhere if not no big deal not missing much.

I bought a digital code for Shrek 1 and 2 and it did not include an itunes redemption option even though the paper insert with the code says it does what can I do?
Here's proof from an unused code http://postimg.org/image/6u9vvpbwv/ |
