Default Harry Potter Collection: Do You Like The Packaging?

I just picked up the blu-ray box set at Best Buy, it's $109.99 their by the way, and I was pretty impressed. I think a lot of thought was put into it.

I wanted the individual BD cases to match up on my shelf, but that does indeed look cool.

I bought them individually but that does look like an awesome box set.

The box set does look cool, but I think I still prefer the individual cases.

Were all the discs Blu-rays or did Warner do a mix-up on yours?

I lucked out all of mine were blu-ray discs, except the game/bonus disc, which is on DVD.

I too got the set, however I am wishing now that I bought them individually. The box is freaking big and I don't like the cases which hold the movies... But only paying $80, I guess I am willing to sacrifice a couple of things...

Any chance that someone who bought these individually would send me some hi res scans. I bought the box set but definately prefer the individual cases. I would like to print them out to better mesh with my current BD collection.

Please PM or email me: swjg3@aol.com

Thanks a ton!

Same here. If anyone wants to scan their inserts for those that bought the singles, that would be wicked nice of you! Hell, I will give you some money for your work (as long as the scans are worthy)

I love the box set. I want to keep it nice so I will make my own blu cases/inserts and store the box for later - sell it maybe when the final series is out.

Though it does look nice and is a bit cheaper, I went with individuals.

1) plastic cases for ach movie, so if someone wants to borrow they can just get one at a time

2) we all know this will be a 7 movie collection. I will get a set when it is done, it will look odd to have the 5 in a set + 2 individuals.

I went with individuals, but I can't wait for the super-mega-holy-cow-awesome extended editions - 200-disc boxset that will be released after the 7th is out.

The lid will be closed 99% of the time, why does it matter?

I think they would make great gifts for the Harry Potter fan but personally Ive never gone in for fancy packaging because the DVDs/BDs end up stacked up with my other movies.
