Cool! One of my favorite Hammer films, with a wonderful performance by Peter Cushing.

YES!!

I knew this had to be in the works with Scream releasing all the other titles from Universal's 8-film Hammer collection. This is one of my favorite Hammers.

Given all 7 of the other Universal Hammer titles they've double-dipped received new transfers, I'd be stunned if this didn't get one.

I'm a bit gutted to be honest. You can't win them all but Indicator waited for a better version of Revenge of Frankenstein, but they didn't for Nightmare and Clegg. I guess it's quite difficult to be second guessing what other labels are going to do all of the time. I can live with the old Nightmare transfer, but Clegg's transfer looks rather long in the tooth on the Indicator release.

New transfer, I will get it. I have the UK Indicator Bluray, Final Cut, and the Universal release. That's 4 Dips !

I hope so too, because the current one is...not good at all.

Thankfully, NIGHTMARE is getting a new 2K transfer. Let's hope the same holds true for NIGHT CREATURES/CAPTAIN CLEGG.

Can’t decide if I should pick up the Indicator Hammer set (which I have all of) and then Scream’s Paranoic, or get the three CE’s from Scream (of which I have all the previous ones). I keep going back and forth.

the only way I will pick this up again if it's a new transfer and they fix the night for days shots like Indicator did for their box set.

That’s a point… a lovely new scan would be wasted if we go back to broad daylight for night scenes…

A sharp & colorful transfer with proper aspect ratio and the day-for-night scenes properly timed would be great --
Shout did an excellent job with same years (1962) Hammer version of The Phantom of the Opera, and I would love to see Captain Clegg/Night Creatures looking so good.

The cover art is a nice change from the standard tilted heads.
