Question about resuming downloads - Blu-ray Forum

well, i started to download the burnout demo last night and it got to about 75%. my dumb ass forgot i was downloading it and turn off the system. can i resume it when i get home, or do i have to start from scratch?

After hitting the button on the PlayStation Store to download the demo and then choosing the destination (internal harddisk), did you just leave it downloading there or did you also select the Perform in Background button? If so it'll carry on downloading as soon as you start the PS3 up again.

You can check the progress of background downloads at

Network > Download Management

yes i put in perform in background, then went to slaughter ppl in warhawk. hopefully it will finish tonight, id like to play it.

I've done that all the time - I will queue up a bunch of downloads and then turn the system off before heading out.

I just turn it back on - and it resumes with anything in its queue.
