Default Blade Runner super low on HD-DVD

Well, I work at BBY and today I was curious to see how many stores actually received a copy of the HD-DVD of Blade Runner. While checking the system out of the whole Bay Area only 2 stores had 1 or 2 copies & that was it! The warehouse don't have any copies of either the Blu-Ray nor the HD-DVD. The Blu-Ray copy on the other hand every store had them in-stock as of today with at least 3-10 copies. I don't know exactly if this is something related to Warner's shipping mis-haps or will they just get them in by Tuesday?

Only time will tell what the situation will be with this movie come Tuesday. I hope this is a sign of WB preferring BD. Also you have to think why nobody has reviewed the HD-DVD copy, including the bits and hi-def digest? I doubt something will come to anything but if the Paramount deal tought us anything is to expect the unexpected.

The bits reviewed it

No one has a review copy yet. Bill got his from a local BB that put it out early. Everything from Warner has been late

Since the HD and BR versions are identical, you do one you do the other.

Believe the commercial.

Oh, and just like they did when Smallville was released, should we question if this is indicative of major HD DVD production problems?

I'm still waiting on my review copy, here. I would have reviewed Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on Blu if Warner actually sent it. Instead, they sent me the HD-DVD!! I had to mail it back to my rep for a Blu swap out, so now I'm two weeks late. Hope that doesn't happen with Blade Runner

Also, Warner wasn't sending reviewers off copies of the Harry Potter Collection, so I went to my local BB and CC and NEITHER had the Blu in!! They'd sold out!!! However, each had HD-DVD sets to spare. Hmmm.....
