to avoid threadcrapping and trolling the mods made it so that you couldnt make threads in any other forum except the newbie discussions... its sometime like 20 posts

yeah just respond to a couple posts and your training wheels will be removed.

This is a (fairly) new fail-safe from people trolling, and also from newbies posting something that has already been posted and discussed.
Usually by the time they loose the newbie status, they have no need to post their question since they find it was already answered.
If you want to post something, use the search tool first.

Still, welcome to the forums.
To loose newbie status, post in existing threads more and it will go away.
