Smile What A Day Of Music!

I just listened to Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, The White Album and Abbey Road all in a row and all I can say is WOW! If you have these Beatles albums on hand, I highly recommend doing this! It was the most amazing 4 hours of music I have ever heard. Is there anyone even close to in their league?

I listened to the entire doors collection while driving to prescott arizona in the middle of the night and almost lost my mind. there wasn't a single spec of light for a 3 hour stretch.

beatles are good. but I like the clash more.

Hmm...sounds the same to me as a John Meyer/Celine Dion double header..

For softer rock..I would rather listen to War, The Joshua Tree, and Unforgettable Fire in a row.

I listened to Revolver, Rubber Soul, Sgt. Peppers and Abbey Road the other night with all the lights off. Definitely an excellent experience.

Other recommendations:

Mogwai

-Come on Die Young

Like the reply's.

I once said years ago Pink Floyd was the only band that holds up quality wise to the Beatles and people thought I was very silly.

Pink Floyd is the only band I like more then the Beatles though.

And,.. Yeah,.. I've got all the Beatles studio recordings so maybe I'll que up those that Beatbuy mention-ed just for kicks.

I really dig sitting in the Home Theater in complete darkness and isolation listening to CD's or my DSotM SACD,.. you really can lose yourself in the music which I enjoy.
