Anybody got The Tudors on BD already? - Blu-ray Forum

just wondering if anyone got it. I am supposed to receive my copy today, but only got away with my the simpsons movie pre-order, because apparently my local HMV hasn't received the copy yet. Wondering if it's delayed (I paid full £35 price)

I was thinking about importing this.

Really wish they would release Dexter on Blu-ray too, that show is crazy.

im pretty sure dexter is owned paramount , season one is getting disb by them here in OZ when it gets released next year so i imagine paramount owns it in the US to.

but it is a great show .

I picked up a copy today from Woolworths £29.97. I missed the series on TV but from all the positive reviews i read i thought it was worth a try.

I've watched the first episode, very good picture quality its well worth adding to your collection.

Its region free and plays fine on my US samsung player.

it is good, but seems unfinished. the divorce by the end of episode 10 is not final. waiting for season 2 on BD. (Even I can't get my hands on season 1 yet, but dreaming of season 2)

I had seen the link a few months ago claiming it was region free, glad to know it's now confirmed!

I love this series, can't wait for Season 2.

Don't know whether to wait til after Christmas to order it. Its certainly worth ordering but i have a huge number of BDs to look at over the Christmas already

season 1 just finished on BBC2 last friday, with the BD coming this monday. Unlikely to see season 2 until 2008, and that would be after ireland having broadcast it (Ireland being the country of origin)

Season 1 ended in the US last June.

I'd heard that Season 2 was supposed to begin in January, but it's very possible I made that up unknowingly

The ads just say 2008 for Season 2.

i'm pretty sure the BBC censored HBO's Rome when it was released in U.K.

Robin Hood is quite good, although IMO, not as good as tudors. the sheriff is funny.

BBC Version of Tudors? I'm not sure, but on the BD cover, it said "As seen in BBC", and the rating for the BD is 15 years old. Seems to me only canada censored the sex scenes.
