The first one came and went unnoticed. It developed a cult following later.
By the time they made a sequel a decade later, no one cared. Now, they're gonna do yet another sequel? 15 years after the second one that no one cared about? Even all the cult fans of the first one have largely outgrown it. Don't know who exactly are the audience for this. |

Sean Patrick Flanery is a guy that had better acting chops than a lot of his fellows. He was one of the better ones in Boondock and in Suicide Kings. I've always wondered what happened to him.

I heard a lot of hype about this series, and gave it a watch, but couldn't get into the story for some reason.
Maybe it was the music, or the lighter mood to everything during a crime scene investigation, but not being funny IMO. I'll give it another watch. DaFoe helps the movie IMO as the main investigator guy. Maybe I need to go into this as a comedy-action thriller. 1999's Boondock Saints is on Tubi free to watch for those who haven't seen it. Okay, not a movie for me. Half the time it's showing a bunch of people shouting in a bar, around a crime scene, and it's jumping all over the place with the characters and story instead of focusing in on one main character or main story for most of it.
