In another thread I noted the availability of Samsung refurb players at around $600.
I was thinking today that this might be the best stop gap player. Consider these advatanges: Cost the same as the 'good' PS3 but is available now. Also, who is gonna get the PS3 with no addons? Yeah so the Samsung refurb is probably the cheapest option. It is available now where the PS3 is still at least ( ![]() The Samsung is a known quantity and the refurbs should have all the latest firmware etc. The PS3 might turn out to be something you don't want at launch either with possibly fixes needed also. One the other hand... ![]() What do we know about Samsung compatibility with recorded media like BD-R, BD-RE and the DL versions of each? I think I have read that it plays BD-R but there is no hard data on what it is capable of playing back. Thoughts...? ![]() |
