What do I need to capture screens from my TV - Blu-ray Forum

Whenever I watch blu-ray I can't help but think, "wow, I would love to just take any paused screen and set it as my PS3 wallpaper". Is there any way I can take a screen capture of images on my TV and turn them into JPG, GIF, etc. files to set as wallpaper? I am willing to buy additional hardware (or software as long as it isn't complicated to install on the PS3 and there's no need to change OSs) if need be. Can someone give me some info or some a link to point me in the right direction? Thanks.

As far as I am aware (correct me anyone if I am wrong) you can only capture from PC blu-ray drives. You can not capture from the PS3.

well, you can capture screen shots with Linux on the PS3...but to my knowledge there is no way to access the bluray drive while in another OS.
