It wasnt nearly as fun as the original but it was still fun and I will most likely buy it when its about $10-12. Hopefully the longer directors cut is really going to be on the disc that Len said should be included. I think it was like 20 mins longer?

I happened to like the remake a lot. Granted I hadn't seen the original but the remake was a very fun time in the theatre.

Might get this. The story was terribly handled(at least in this cut, don't know if the rumored extended cut would be better), but the action and visuals looked great, expecting this to be at least a great demo disc. Shame they didn't handle the story better though, it had so much potential.

Remaking Arnold movies without Arnold I think is officially boxoffice poison at this point. There's two huge bombs already in the loss pile with this and Conan.

Regardless of how "cool" it is to make fun of this since it performed poorly, I still highly enjoyed it and will definitely add it to my collection

I don't see anyone trying to be cool, or making fun of the movie. It was bad to me as well, and I feel like sharing that in this thread is appropriate when there will be dozens of people asking if they should blind buy it. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it though. I definitely wanted to.

Overall I enjoyed it, once it got going. While there were some flaws, some of the story concepts were really quite interesting, and visually- it was great! My biggest complaint was the length, so to the possibility of an extended version is great. The score was good, and some of the action set pieces were great. I look forward to adding it to my collection!

Them? I wasn't expecting anything. It was bad to be me because I got bored watching it, and forgot about it the next day. The best thing about it was the futuristic appearance. I'm not going to harp on it, and take away from the fun others may have had with it, but you can't say why people didn't like the movie. Everyone wasn't just expecting a carbon copy of Schwarzenegger's campy classic.
