I went looking for street bargains in the town of Bedford in the UK this past week and I have to say its quite hard to find any movies at all.
There are 2 gaming stores that stock BD movies and they had about 4-8 movie titles to choose from. CEX (Computer exchange) had a few used movies but again it was lacking any variety of titles. So, does your town suffer the same as mine? Has blu-ray not even reached the penetration to get mass bricks and mortar support on our streets? I did find a Fantastic Four in a comic store for £10, which I snapped up in a nano second. Obviously online is where it is at, but that isn't enough to get mass market support. I would have expected a BD section in every DVD store by now. |

High street prices in UK Cr@p ... I buy off amazon.co.uk US sellers ... never cost anymore than £10 inc delivery ... also bought off .com but only from amazon due to shipping costs ... I've been lucky reading some posts as none of mine have been stopped ...
I also bought some from dvd.co.uk |

I've not realy been looking much for high street Blu-Ray... the prices put me off. Online is where I get mine. Reasonable prices and often a deal on them.
I had a look in Borders, they had a good selection, but the prices were exorbitant. Asda was a bit better, but nowhere as good as Play, Sendit or amazon.co.uk. |
