Default XBR4 dims?

I've been watching NIN BYIT and i've noticed on my xbr4 that when the picture is really dark that it automatically adjusted and dims and brightens? anyone know what that is?

That's probably the sensor. Go to General Settings -> Light Sensor to turn it off.

heres the funny thing...it was off...so i turned it on..and now it seems to go away...lol wierd.....

live it on for dark room viewing (the best), gives you a cinema exprince.

i can turn it off or on and it still changes.....i notice it does it the most during credits

i have also noticed that during standard dvd playback thru ps3 that the black bars seem to be darker than my playback of blu rays?
