Excellent battles, great stunt work, fantastic Elmer Bernstein score that was sadly never released in its original form.

I wish that Twilight Time had gotten this title, due to the Bernstein music, but I'm glad that Kino will release the film.

Bumping this nearly year old thread to say I finally watched this last night. I had never seen the movie before and loved it, but the Blu is atrocious, one of the worst I've ever seen. DO NOT SPEND A LOT OF MONEY on this one, it's a terrible transfer.

BD-Java: No
Playlist: 00002.MPLS
Size: 34,170,381,696 bytes
Length: 1:47:44.374
Total Bitrate: 42.29 Mbps
Video: MPEG-4 AVC Video / 36903 kbps / 1080p / 23.976 fps / 16:9 / High Profile 4.1
Audio: German / LPCM Audio / 2.0 / 48 kHz / 1536 kbps / 16-bit
Audio: English / LPCM Audio / 2.0 / 48 kHz / 1536 kbps / 16-bit
Subtitle: English / 17.838 kbps
Subtitle: German / 0.014 kbps

Only extras are 4 assorted (US & German) trailers for the film and opening/end credits in German. All are PAL SD.

I've watched the first ten minutes and didn't notice any of the flicker, scratches & damage mentioned in the review of the Kino BD. Plenty of film grain though.
Don't have the Kino, so can't say if it's the same source. Note the very high video bitrate.
