Is Blade Runner in blu selling like crazy or just way understocked? - Blu-ray Forum

I've been to 2 walmarts, best buy and target, no blade runner. Decided not to get Potter and I am holding off of T3 with the supposedly bugged interlaced disc. i wanted Blade Runner and wanted a warner blu for the holiday to do my part... and it's nowhere to be found.

The BB I went to tonight had 8 copies of BR in stock.

Depending where you are at a bit of both are happening.

Well they are understocked, but the copies that are available are selling like crazy.

Best place to look for "Out of Stock" movies is in the boxes under the display tables or on top of shelves.

I was at a Fry's that was "Out of Stock". After a few minutes of "Looking" I found an un opened box under a display, opened it, and bought a copy.

If anything is out at BB, tell someone to go look in the 'media room', its where they sort all the incoming movies and games, lots of times stuff gets put int he wrong spot in there or something.

Blade Runner 5 disc DVD- $150
Blad Runner DVD Suitcase-$250

Not a sign of it on Blu

When I told the clerk that they were $25, and $65 respectively, and I picked up the Blu 5disc for $23, he was amazed

Course those prices are par for the course in Japan

I had no trouble finding it. I went to Best Buy with a 10% off coupon last night, and I was really looking for something else in the Blu-ray area. They didn't have the title I wanted, so I saw Blade Runner (5 Disc, not in briefcase) sitting there. They had two copies of that, so I grabbed one. I'm sure if I'd looked more, there would have been some on that "New Junk" display table when you walk in.

I'm surprised you're having trouble finding it. Shoulda preordered

Picked it up at circuit city finally, love the final cut. Also saw a woman buying a PS3 in the line behind me, all is well in the world. Wish I could have just bought the final cut as a standalone, doubt I'm ever going to touch the other 4 discs.

I got lucky on finding a copy today at my local BB. In the end stack or whatever they call it in retail, not in the display rack of movies, it was hiding behind a copy of Pirates 3. Someone put it there, I assume to make up their mind while they were shopping or some other plausible reason but it was there and I grabbed it up.
